Five advantages of Stone-coated Aluzinc roofing tiles over metal roofing sheets
Though metal roofing sheets are great they do have some disadvantages that make them seem to pale in comparison to Rosa Roof’s Aluzinc roofing sheets. Here are 5 reasons why Aluzinc roofing sheets are superior to metal roofing sheets:
Fire-resistant
Aluzinc roofing sheets made by Rosa Roofing Systems do not burn up to 760 °C. They are heat-resistant, and the stone-coated outer surface reflects heat away, resulting in internal cold rooms. No flames, sparks, or smoke were visible on our rooftops during testing. Hence, Rosa tile is especially useful in places with high temperatures or in commercial or public buildings where it will prevent your home from burning down before aid arrives in the event of a fire.
Leakproof
Did you know that even little roof leaks can increase your home’s risk of fire both on and off the roof? This is because water can spark in the walls and harm your electrical system. The fire can and will spread to the roof of your home if this occurs in the upper stories.

Environment friendly
Rainwater can be collected from roofs using Rosa Roof’s stone-coated Aluzinc roofing tiles and shingles, and the resulting water is safe to drink. Our green roofs prevent rainwater from becoming contaminated when it falls on them, which prevents them from also harming the grounds they are on.
They do not rust or corrode
Stone-coated Aluzinc roofing tiles can rust and corrode when the grade of the Aluzinc is very low. However, the grade sold by Rosa Roof is of the highest quality. This is due to the fact that their outside surface has a natural stone chip coating that makes them fade-resistant. Compared to products that have not undergone this process, ours have a longer lifespan as a result.
Because our stone-coated Aluzinc roofs do not corrode, you should be concerned about them if your property is close to the sea or in an industrial zone. Our Aluzinc roofs are incredibly strong and able to withstand corrosion brought on by sand, fumes, or seawater thanks to the coating.
They are burglar proof
Did you know that burglars can gain access to your home through your roof? Some thieves just cut through the roof or rip away roof components, such as vents, to enter your building from above. That is why you can have confidence in our roofs, because they were designed to overlap and interlock to form a horizontal fix system, making it difficult for a burglar to enter your home. These fastenings are done at right angles creating a roof of superior strength.
Do Stone-coated Aluzinc roofing tiles rust?
Aluzinc roofing sheets can rust and corrode when the grade of the Aluzinc is very low. So yes it can rust. There’s what we call Aluzinc grade or content similar to the percentage of the aluminium and zinc in the alloy.
Common Aluzinc grade ranges from AZ20g to AZ150g. The higher the number, the better the Aluzinc in terms of durability and longevity and its ability to withstand rust and corrosion. If the Aluzinc roofing sheets have a grade of say between AZ20g to AZ50g, they can easily rust in a sea area. This is the reason why Aluzinc roofing sheets from China don’t stand the test of time because their AZ grade is always very low.
So the best grade is AZ150g and this is what Rosa roofing sheets are made of. So Rosa products don’t rust or corrode because it’s made of very high Aluzinc grade (AZ150g/m). They can stand the test of time even in the sea/coastal areas without rusting. This is also why Rosa Roofing sheets have a 50-year written warranty.
Companies importing from China with very low Aluzinc grade cannot give a written warranty because they know their products cannot last long, especially in coastal environments. The Aluzinc grade also determines the cost of roofing sheets because the higher the grade, the more expensive it cost even from the production factory
